Spent most of the day Saturday hanging around the ball park enjoying the atmosphere of the official start of the 2010 baseball season. Didn't plan on shooting much but a last minute call up from the league board meant I 'started' the season in the bigs...
The league president, during his laboriously long oration, recommended the 'old timers' come out and watch some of the up and comers in order to remember what the game is all about. True enough... the expressions of joy on some of the t-ballers faces as they rounded the bases on the Majors' field during the parade of players was priceless.
