It seems there is an entire community effort organized around beautifying the electrical boxes around the UCSD campus. The University City Box Art Project (BAP) is "a communal and artistic way of creating environmental community identity, reducing graffiti and supporting local artist by painting electrical boxes."
Expect to seem more BAP shots in the future...
