The Encinitas Little League Minor A Angles continued their outstanding season with a hard fought victory over the Minor A Yankees. The Angels pulled ahead twice with the Yankees fighting back to tie it up each time, first at sixes then at eights. The Angels scored two unanswered runs in the final inning finishing with a score of 10-8 and holding onto first place in the ELL Minor A division.

Encinitas EDGE and dozens of other travel ball teams from Southern California participated in a one day tournament around San Diego County to honor the memory of Chelsea King and raise money for Chelsea's Light Foundation and a Memorial Scholarship in her name at Poway High School.

The Encinitas EDGE 10U Travel Ball team scrimmaged with the Titans in Encinitas on Sunday. The Titans mental toughness allowed them to triumph over the EDGE in a close game. Hopefully, the EDGE players learned some valuable lessons from the Titans and can put them to good use in the Chelsea King Memorial Scholarship Event being held around San Diego County next weekend. If you're an EDGE fan watch the boys play on Sunday, April 25th at the 4S Ranch Little League Facility.
